We also do not ignore intentional harsh violations that may somehow not handled strong by our system. Our system does well and prevent most of such moments. We also check if player already received bans for TK, then bans become harsher up to permanent. If there is 100% evidence we don't tolerate such moments. Why would any of you want to put up with this crap? Anyone want to see the replay? WG? Anyone in authority? I've seen this happen several times in the last 6 months alone and have been personally targeted at least 3 times that I can recall. I think the policy should be Zero tolerance with evidence. I don't think there's room to tolerate this kind of behav ior. ![]() What I'm talking about is totally different though. And I've been o n the receiving end of accidental torps a couple of times - totally innocent stuff. I was green once and accidentally torped a couple of teammates. Well, of course, I'm familiar with the process myself. This dude actually went to the trouble of forming a clan - he's the only member - and has a hidden profile. seems to me permabanning is an appropriate remedy. He gets an instant teamkill penalty of course, but what else happens to a player like this? I reported it in Karma but is WG paying any attention? Are they banned? When it is incredibly obvious it isn't a mistake - not a slip of the mouse button etc. Then he reloads and fires at a friendly carrier about 6 klicks away. Right out of the spawn a BB behind me aims and fires at my cruiser. The most recent example for me was two days ago. It sucks and spoils the game for the majority of us who just want to relax and have a competitive match. I've also seen players deliberately throw games by suiciding after a teamkill infraction, making me wonder what the player has against his own teammates. Deliberately spoiling the enjoyment of a complete stranger/teammate is a pretty strong message. But the frequency of this behavior is a symptom of something and the frequency isn't negligible. Who knows why people do this?! Bored and acting out, and/or just stupidly angry for some reason I suppose. Who hasn't? I've occasionally been the target of some of them. Not sure about karma didn't even check it.I've seen deliberate teamkill offenses by teammates. The system did not put me back in to the battle but gave me a penalty. I have also been disconnected before with a power cut, or the isp going down, but soon as I got power back or internet connection back and reloaded wow I was put back into battle. They have lots of tools at hand to check things. I would also say that wow would know if you quit the battle early or got disconnected or had a power outage. That is not the issue, The issue is being given a penalty for something not in my control. ( it did not put me back in the battle)Īt the end of the battle I got a penalty yes its only 3 battles as pink not a problem, yes I can go fight in random or co-op or what ever I wish to do. I didn't get put back into the battle but my ship was in the battle and not available to use due to it being in battle without me. Like I said before the battle was loading I got cut off during the loading screen because of the power cut, soon as I got power back I reloaded wow logged into my account, which then put me in the main dock screen ready to select a ship or a different battle. To prevent abuses, the devs decided to let the things like they are Like other guys wrote here, its not big deal, aside you loose a camo, some flags and some credits. The game cant tell the difference between an deliberate, forced "exit" like Alt + F4 or a genuine accident : by power cut, internet fail, etc. Now to the OP question - problem its not new, you get the same "punishment" not necessary by a power cut, but even if simply your ISP provider fail (net cut) or even game crash - CTD. More, if you check on "details" you can see clearly there the message "x games until the PENALTY is lifted". ![]() etc" More warnings in an determinate period of time lead to a penalty - pink. Lol man, getting pink IT IS an penalty, stop making dumb statements ! You have enough games under your belt to remember the fact BEFORE you get pink, you receive an warning - exactly with that title:"warning issued to the player x for. How is WG supposed to know if you spilled water on your PC, had a power cut or decided to quit because you didn't like the MM? They can't, hence it's the result of being AFk that's "punished", not the reason behind it And look at it this way - were you AFK in that battle (completely regardless of why)? Answer is: yes.
